Cougs in the NFL: Wild Card Weekend

Pullman, WASH. – How the Cougs fared in NFL Wild Card Weekend.

River Cracraft  (WR), Miami Dolphins – Cracraft appeared as a reserve wide receiver and was targeted three times and recorded two catches for 33 yards in the Dolphins' 26-7 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs. The Miami Dolphins finished the season 11-7 and second in the AFC East. Cracraft finished his fifth NFL season with nine receptions, 121 yards, and one touchdown in 11 games.

Andre Dillard (OL), Tennessee Titans – Dillard and the Tennessee Titans did not make the playoffs and finished 6-11 on the season and fourth in the AFC South. Dillard appeared in 16 games and started in 10  in his fifth NFL season.

Daniel Ekuale (DL), New England Patriots – Ekuale and the New England Patriots did not make the playoffs and finished 4-13 on the season and fourth in the AFC East. In his fifth NFL season, Ekuale appeared in three games with two tackles and a forced fumble before he was put on Injured Reserve and missed the rest of the season.

Daiyan Henley  (LB), Los Angeles Chargers – Henley and the Los Angeles Chargers did not make the playoffs and finished 5-12 on the season and fourth in the AFC West. In his rookie season, Henley appeared in 15 games with 16 total tackles.

Abe Lucas  (OL), Seattle Seahawks –Lucas and the Seattle Seahawks did not make the playoffs and finished 9-8 on the season and third in the NFC West. Lucas appeared and started in six games in his second season in the NFL while battling an injury for most of the year.

Frankie Luvu (LB), Carolina Panthers – Luvu and the Carolina Panthers did not make the playoffs and finished 2-15 on the season and fourth in the NFC South. Luvu served as a captain for the Panthers and started in all 17 games this season. Luvu led the team with 125 total tackles and two forced fumbles, and second in sacks (5.5) and TFL (15) in his sixth season in the NFL.

Gardner Minshew II  (QB), Indianapolis Colts – Minshew II and the Indianapolis Colts did not make the playoffs and finished 9-8 on the season and third in the AFC South. Minshew II appeared in all 17 games this season while logging 13 starts for the Colts. Minshew II replaced Rookie starter Anthony Richardson after a season ending injury. Minshew II went 7-6 as a starter in his fifth season in the NFL. He was 305-of-490 with a 62.24% completion percentage, threw for 3,305 yards and 15 touchdowns against nine interceptions, and ran the ball 34 times for 100 yards and three touchdowns.

Jalen Thompson  (S), Arizona Cardinals – Thompson and the Arizona Cardinals did not make the playoffs and finished 4-13 and fourth in the NFC West. Thompson started and played in 15 games this season for the Cardinals. Thompson led the team with four interceptions, was third on the team in tackles (78), tied fourth in TFL (5), and a forced fumble in his fifth season in the NFL.

Jaylen Watson (CB), Kansas City Chiefs – Watson appeared as a reserve corner back and recorded one tackle in the Chiefs' 26-7 win over the Miami Dolphins. The Kansas City Chiefs will travel to Orchard Park, NY to take on the Buffalo Bills in the AFC Divisional Round. Watson has played in 17 games along with two starts. He has totaled 33 tackles, six pass deflections, two sacks, and two TFL in his second season in the NFL.

Easop Winston Jr. (WR), Seattle Seahawks (Practice Squad) – Winston Jr. and the Seattle Seahawks did not make the playoffs and finished 9-8 on the season and third in the NFC West. Winston Jr. spent his time on the practice squad this season for the Seattle Seahawks in his third NFL season.
