PULLMAN, Wash. – Washington State Athletics has announced that the renewal process for 2023 football season tickets began Monday, Dec. 5 and included price reductions for many sections throughout Gesa Field. The Cougars' six home game schedule is highlighted by Big Ten opponent Wisconsin, Sept. 9, as well as four Pac-12 Conference games.
Â
"WSU Athletics understands the challenges for many families attending Cougar football games at Gesa Field," said WSU Director of Athletics Pat Chun. "In listening to fan feedback specific to those challenges, we have made changes to our season ticket packages that includes reduced prices or no change in several sections, while some sections will see a moderate increase."
Â
Beginning with the 2023 football season ticket renewals, 65 percent of the season tickets in the general seating area of Gesa Field will see a season ticket price reduction ranging from $40 to as much as $160 per ticket. Additionally, WSU Athletics is extending the renewal process, providing up to seven months for fans requesting longer payment plans.
Â
"Our overall goal is providing a better gameday atmosphere for our players and coaches, as well as fans by making season tickets more accessible," said Chun. "There is no greater home field advantage on the west coast than a full Gesa Field, and the changes we are implementing helps ensure that for our team."
Â
The Cougars 2023 slate includes two nonconference opponents, Wisconsin (Sept. 9) and Northern Colorado (Sept. 16), along with four Pac-12 opponents, Stanford, Oregon State, Arizona and Colorado. Dates for the Pac-12 contests will be announced by the conference at a later time.
