PULLMAN, Wash. - Washington State became bowl eligible with a 28-18 win over Arizona State at Gesa Field Saturday afternoon. Check out the postgame notes from the win.

•     WSU clinched bowl eligibility for the seventh straight season (Not counting 2020 season)
•     WSU beat Arizona State for the second straight season (34-21 in Tempe), and have won four of last five meetings
•     WSU's converted its first two-point conversion since 2019 at Oregon (Anthony Gordon to Brandon Arconado)
•     WSU recorded four sacks for the fourth time in 2022, most since making four in win over California

•     Grant Stephens made his first career start at left tackle, made eight starts at right guard in 2022
•     Ma'ake Fifita made his eighth start of the season, second at right guard (at Oregon State)
•     Cameron Ward threw for 219 yards and one touchdown (2)
•     Nakia Watson rushed for 116 yards on a career-high 20 carries and three touchdowns, his third career 100-yard game, all in 2022
•     Watson rushed for three touchdowns, the first Coug with three rushing touchdowns since Max Borghi last season against BYU
