Hall of Fame Festivities Set for September
July 23, 2015 | WSU Athletics
PULLMAN, Wash. – Washington State University will induct 25 members into the WSU Athletic Hall of Fame Sept. 18-19, 2015, in events held both in Spokane and Pullman.
“This year's class is comprised of legendary Cougars who have been tremendous representatives of Washington State University, both as student-athletes and throughout their endeavors after leaving Pullman,” said WSU Director of Athletics Bill Moos. “Their accomplishments merit their inclusion into the WSU Athletic Hall of Fame, alongside the other great individuals and teams who have preceded them.”
The large class of 2015 includes both contemporary (men since 1970, women since 1985) and pioneer (men before 1970, women before 1985) inductees. It consists of NCAA champions, All-Americans, international competitors and trend-setters across several sports. Moos requested a large class after Steve Gleason was honored as the sole inductee in the class of 2014 last season.
