SHELFORD'S HIGH SCHOOL CAREER

Attended King's High, where he lettered four times for coach Jim Shapiro as a center/defensive end…also lettered twice in track and field…FRESHMAN year started at center for 8-3 team that lost in second round of state playoffs…SOPHOMORE year team went 7-3 and lost in first round of playoffs…second team all-league selection…during JUNIOR year second team all-league offensive and defensive lineman…defensive team MVP…as a SENIOR selected first team all-league offensive and defensive lineman…defensive team MVP and team MVP…played in East-West Shrine game.

SHELFORD'S WSU CAREER

FRESHMAN (1999-2000): Walked on in the fall of 1999…redshirt season.

RS-FRESHMAN (2000-01): Did not see any varsity action….earned one weekly team award: Stanford/Offensive Scout Team.

RS-SOPHOMORE (2001-02): V-letter…Games - 5…Starts - 1…played in games against Idaho, California, Arizona, Montana State and ASU…started the ASU game at center in place of the injured Tyler Hunt.
