COX'S HIGH SCHOOL CAREER
Attended Manti High...during FRESHMAN year backup quarterback and a member of the varsity basketball and baseball teams...tabbed to the All-State team as a pitcher and pitched in the State title game (lost 2-0 in the ninth)...as a SOPHOMORE started for all three teams and again was an All-State pitcher...during JUNIOR year named to the All-Region first team and All-State first team as a quarterback and punter ... as a SENIOR (1994-95) earned All-State honors in football, basketball and baseball...starting quarterback and free safety and handled punting and kicking chores...led the team to its best finish in school history after reaching the State semi-finals...threw for over 2,000 yards and gained over 3,500 yards in total offense...on defense averaged 12 tackles and had six interceptions...averaged 44.5 yards punting and set a State record with a 53-yard field goal...during basketball season averaged 15 points and 11 rebounds as team reached the State quarterfinals...also competed in track, where he was a member of the State qualifying 400 meter relay team that placed fourth...baseball team reached the State quarterfinals as he was named to the All-State team for the fourth time.

Freshman (1998-99): Named to the All-Western State Football League first team as a punter for the Badgers, averaging 43.4 yards on 46 punts for coach Keith Uphresa...a starter on the baseball team, finishing 8-6 after an 0-4 start coming off the football campaign
Sophomore (1999-2000): Played for coach Mike Empy ... earned junior college All-America honors after averaging 43.7 yards on 38 punts, with a long of 69 yards...repeat first team pick on the All-WSFL team ... graduated from Snow in December of 1999.
