BUSH'S HIGH SCHOOL CAREER
Started career at Rubidoux High (Riverside, Calif.), playing two seasons for basketball coach Dale Johnson in 1993-94 and 1994-95…then attended Mercersburg Academy (Mercersburg, Pa.) where he lettered two years for football coach Andy Schroer and basketball coach Tony Tucker…also a sprinter for the track team…as a JUNIOR (1995-96) in football, caught 31 passes for 603 yards and four touchdowns while earning All-Mid-Atlantic Conference and all-area first team honors…during SENIOR year (1996-97) caught 53 passes for 706 yards and 14 touchdowns and again was named to the all-league and all-area first teams…averaged 20 points, 12 rebounds and three steals as team MVP for 17-5 squad…finished his education at Kent-Meridian High (1997-98) in Washington.

BASKETBALL CAREER NOTES - Ended career with 1,052 points, 20th on the WSU all-time list...recorded 148 career steals, fourth all-time at WSU...also racked up 456 rebounds and started 77 of 84 games...played in all 29 games as a freshman and was named the team's top defensive player...racked up four double-doubles as a sophomore, averaging over 13 points and six boards per game...averaged 15.9 points per game during junior campaign, leading team and earning honorable mention All-Pac-10 honors...competed in final regular season football game Nov. 17, scoring a touchdown against Washington, and began his senior basketball campaign three days later with 12 points against Colorado State.
RS-JUNIOR (2001-02): V-letter…Games - 12…Starts - 11…participated in spring drills, his first football action since high school…earned a spot in the two-deep…earned the following weekly team awards: California/Offensive Back; Arizona/Cougar Claw; Stanford/Pac-10 Offense; UCLA/Offensive Back.
