JACKSON'S WSU CAREER
SENIOR (2008): Earned a varsity letter after appearing in nine of WSU's 13 games...started seven games, six at safety and one at cornerback...recorded 24 tackles (17 solo) on the season...registered one tackle-for-loss at UCLA (Oct. 4)...five pass break-ups were tied for second on the team...recorded a season-high six tackles at Stanford (four solo).
JUNIOR (2007): Earned a varsity letter after playing in nine of WSU's 12 games...started each of the nine games in which he played...missed the Arizona State, UCLA and California games with a concussion...received the team's weekly Cougar Claw Defense Award following performances against San Diego State and USC...finished seventh on the team in tackles with 65 (42 solo)...also recorded two interceptions (one each against San Diego State and Washington)...had one pass break-up...had back-to-back 10-tackle games against USC and Arizona...all 10 stops against USC were solo...recorded a career-high 13 tackles against Oregon State.

SOPHOMORE (2006): Received All-Southwest JC Football Conference honorable mention honors for team that went an undefeated 12-0...named the No. 1 juco team in the final NJCAA football poll...the Bucs ranked first nationally in defense, allowing just 129 yards of offense a game...opponents gained just 39 rushing yards per game...preseason NJCAA All-America pick...finished the season with 55 tackles and three interceptions.
FRESHMAN (2005-06): Head coach Brad Franchione...picked off two passes and recorded 45 tackles.

Coached by Craig Slaughter...lettered four times in football, four times in basketball, three times in baseball and twice in track...as a FRESHMAN (2001-02) earned football team's newcomer of the year award...named all-district as an outfielder...SOPHOMORE (2002-03) year earned all-district honors as a quarterback...also recognized on the All-Brazos Valley and All-Robertson County Teams...during JUNIOR (2003-04) year was named an all-district pick as both a quarterback and defensive back and was again named to both the all-valley and all-county teams...in basketball and baseball named to the all-district first teams for both sports...SENIOR (2004-05) year was an all-district quarterback and defensive back...also earned all-region honors at defensive back...once again named to the all-valley and all-county teams...basketball team's MVP and received recognition on the all-valley, all-county and all-state teams...all-district outfielder for a fourth year...400m relay team finished third at the state championships.

Alfonso Jackson...parents Lupe and Eleanor Gonzales...one older brother Fabian and four younger brothers Eric, Lupe, Gabnel and Jaylen...one younger sister Audriana...cousin Kendrick Dunn is also a member of the WSU football team...enjoys cutting hair...wants to pursue a kinesiology degree at WSU.
