WSU CAREER. REDSHIRT FRESHMAN (2007-08): Cross Country - ran in four meets during the fall season...best performance was sixth at the Gonzaga Preview and 26th at the Eastern Washington University Invite.

FRESHMAN (2006-07): Cross Country - Competed as an unattached runner in three races...placed 17th at Idaho Jamboree...finished 62nd at Sundodger Invite and 30th at Montana Invitational...Indoor - Redshirt season...Outdoor - Redshirt season...ran unattached in steeplechase at Pelluer Invite.

HIGH SCHOOL CAREER. Played two sports and earned seven varsity letters at Decatur High...four in cross country under coaches Heather Krier, Russ Anderson and Teri Galloway...three in track under coach Sam Beasley...member of Federal Way Track Club under coach Darryl Genest....placed third in 2000m steeplechase at 2004 Junior Olympics...qualified for state championship in cross country all four years...as a freshman earned first team All-South Puget Sound League...most valuable on team...rookie of the year award...sophomore year voted most valuable player...placed fifth in state in 4x200m relay...as a junior placed sixth in state in 4x200m relay...qualified in 800m...senior year earned first team All-South Puget Sound League...qualified for state championship in 800m...most inspirational award.

PERSONAL. Born Rebecca Leann Williams, 7-12-88, at Renton, Wash...father Paul is a teacher...mother Mary Ellen is a radiation therapist...two brothers Chris (7/1/85) and Keith (7/23/86)...Chris, a senior, is also a member of the WSU cross country and track and field programs...plans to pursue a degree in speech and hearing sciences.
