BRIGHAM YOUNG UNIVERSITY CAREER. Competed in 2001 and 2002 NCAA Cross Country Championships where BYU finished 12th and 16th respectively…junior year finished 12th at the Mountain West Conference Championships and blue Cougars won the team title…placed 26th at the NCAA Mountain Regional Meet…as a sophomore finished 17th at MWC meet and 48th at NCAA Mountain Regional…fourth BYU member to finish at NCAA Meet…during junior indoor season, ran on distance medley relay team that won the MWC title…also finished fourth in 3000m at same meet…qualified for 2003 NCAA West Regional Outdoor Track Championships in 1500m…as a freshman finished second at Junior Nationals in the 1500m…as member of US Junior National Track & Field Team competed in 1998 World Junior Championships in France, finishing 13th…twice earned MWC academic all-conference honors.

HIGH SCHOOL CAREER. Earned 10 letters at Clovis High, four each in cross country and track for coach Rob Brenner, and two in soccer for coach Jon Howerton…captained cross country team junior and senior years…finished fourth in state cross country meet as a senior…placed second in the Golden West Invitational in the mile run as a senior...earned first team all conference honors in soccer..
