WSU Cross Country Gains Experience in Moscow

MOSCOW, Idaho. - The Washington State men's and women's cross country teams traveled to Moscow, Idaho, Saturday to compete in the Inland Northwest Cross Country Classic at the University of Idaho Golf Course.

Sophomore Justin Englund (Federal Way) led the way with a fourth place finish in the 8000m race in a time of 24 minutes, 34 seconds. Junior David Hickerson, ninth (25:07.9), redshirt junior Luke Lemenager, 69th (27:15.6), and redshirt freshmen Jayson Taylor, 19th (25:35.5), and Jason Stoker, 42nd (26:20.4) finished out the race for the Cougars.

The Cougar women, running unattached, sent four runners to complete the 5000m race including sophomore Michelly Foley, 23rd (19:13.8), and true freshmen Courtney Zalud, 31st (19:37.8), Molli Bahlenhorst, 43rd (19:59.6), and Hillary Norris who finished 72nd in a time of 21:37.0.
