Jessi Seumalo begins her first season as the Washington State Football Director of On-Campus Recruiting after spending the previous two seasons as the recruiting operations coordinator for the Utah football program.
At Utah, Seumalo worked alongside the director of player personal and organized all operational aspects of recruiting future football student-athletes, as well as assisting with Junior Day, Spring Game, Walk-On Tryouts and camps. Prior to Utah, the Corvallis, Ore. native worked at her alma mater Oregon State as a recruiting graduate assistant for the 2017-18 seasons and the spring of 2017 as a recruiting intern.
Seumalo played volleyball at the College of Southern Idaho (2013-15) and at Oregon State (2015-17) where she earned her bachelor’s degree in human development and family sciences in 2017. Seumalo’s dad, Joe has worked as the defensive line coach at Oregon State, Arizona State and San Jose State while her brothers Andrew and Isaac both played football at Oregon State.
