Junior Sportswriter Day is a chance for kids to be a member of the media for a day at a women’s basketball game. Kids who participate will get these privileges:
Junior Sportswriter Day is a chance for kids to be a member of the media for a day at a women’s basketball game. Kids who participate will get these privileges:
- Kids 12 and under receive free admission with paid parent ($2)
- Media credential with their name and their chosen (fictitious) news agency
- Special seating for the game with other honorary media members
- Early access to the coliseum through special entrance
- Special access to the team and coaches at a kids only post-game press conference streamed live on the web
- Kids get to submit an article about the game to WSU’s Athletic Communications Department for potential publication on WSUCougars.com
