Lindsay Henahan to Join Cougar Swimming Staff Lindsay Henahan, a former Washington State University swimmer, will be joining the Cougar swimming staff as an assistant coach, WSU Head Coach Erica Quam announced, Thursday. Henahan will be replacing Suzanne Yee; who spent the last eight seasons in Pullman. Henahan's duties will commence July 1. WSU Swimming Adds Two for Next Season High school seniors Lorraine Zannini and Rachael Krager each signed a National Letter of Intent to compete for the Washington State swim team next season announced WSU Head Coach Erica Quam, Thursday. Four Swimmers Earn Pacific-10 First and Second Team All-Academic Honors The Washington State swim team had 10 student-athletes recognized for their academic achievements by the Pacific-10 Conference, announced commissioner Tom Hansen. Erin McCleave Wins Mile at Australian National Swimming Championships Former swimmer Erin McCleave and several members of this season's swimming squad have continued competition around the world. Season Review: 2007-08 Swimming The Cougars competed in a strong Pacific-10 Conference, set multiple school records and wrapped up the 2007-08 season at the conference championships. FSN to Air Pacific-10 Championships The Washington State swim team competed at the Pacific-10 Conference Championships Feb. 27-March 1. The championships will be aired on FSN Northwest Friday, March 7 at noon. Two WSU Swimmers Compete at Pac-10 Invitational Sophomore Michaela Ahlin and junior Elyse Peterson competed at the Pacific-10 Invitational Sunday. Both were trying for the NCAA Automatic cuts in their respective events. |
