CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Washington State University rowing senior, Emily Morrow, has earned Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association (CRCA) Pac-12 All Conference honors, the organization announced Monday.

The 2018 Division I All Conference Teams replace the previous All Region award given by the CRCA. These awards recognize the outstanding performances of rowers and coxswains from each Division I rowing conference. These athletes, along with others who compete at the NCAA Championships, will be eligible for 2018 All-America awards selection.

A native of Regina, Saskatchewan, Morrow just concluded her fourth and final season with the Cougars this year, having rowed with the second varsity eight and varsity eight crews her entire career. She was stroke for the Cougars' varsity eight crew, which finished 14th as a crew, as the team placed 14th overall at the 2018 NCAA Rowing Championships at Nathan Benderson Park at Sarasota, Fla. Also seated stroke in the varsity eight in 2017, Morrow helped lead her crew to 13th at the 2017 NCAA Championships as the team finished 14th. Morrow rowed with the second varsity eight at the 2015 and 2016 NCAA Championships, leading her crew to sixth place in 2015 as the team finished eighth, and 11th in 2016, as the team placed 12th. Morrow was also named All-Conference by the Pac-12 in May.

To receive the CRCA honors, nominated student-athletes are evaluated on the strength of their team's regional finish, coaches' recommendations and 2,000-meter erg score. Nominees must be eligible student-athletes who have competed in their schools' varsity boat in 75 percent of races this season.
