SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. – Washington State University women's rowing senior Emily Morrow has been named to the Pac-12 All-Conference team, commissioner Larry Scott announced Thursday.

A native of Regina, Saskatchewan, Morrow is concluding her fourth and final season with the Cougars this year, having rowed with the second varsity eight and varsity eight crews her entire career. Currently she is stroke for the No. 17 Cougars' varsity eight crew, which will begin competition at the 2018 NCAA Rowing Championships Friday at Nathan Benderson Park at Sarasota, Fla. Also seated stroke in the varsity eight in 2017, Morrow helped lead her crew to 13th at the 2017 NCAA Championships as the team finished 14th. Morrow rowed with the second varsity eight at the 2015 and 2016 NCAA Championships, leading her crew to sixth place in 2015 as the team finished eighth, and 11th in 2016, as the team placed 12th.

A criminal justice major, Morrow is a three-time CRCA Scholar-Athlete and three-time Pac-12 All-Academic honoree.

Members of the All-Conference rowing teams are based upon each institution's finish in the varsity eight race at the Pac-12 Championships, which were held May 14 on Lake Natoma in Gold River, Calif. The conference champion provides four members of the All-Conference team, the Pac-12 second-place crew provides three members and the third-place finisher provides two. All other participating conference crews receive one selection each.
