Brown sits one stroke ahead of No.3 Andrea Lee of Stanford and No.19 Kaitlyn Papp of Texas (143, -1), and leads No.1 Lilia Vu of UCLA by three (145, +1). Brown is also tied with two others for most tournament birdies so far, each with 10.
The Cougars sit tied with Oregon for 10
th, each at 597(+21) overall. The Cougars shaved one stroke off of their first round score, coming in at 298(+10) for the day. The team leads 12
th place No.50 Pepperdine by 4 strokes (601, +25), as well as No.20 Colorado who sits with an overall of 603(+27).
Sophomore
Marie Lund-Hansen maintained her top-25 status, matching her first round score with a 74(+2). Lund-Hansen has 28 pars for the tournament so far, tied for second most. Lund-Hansen is tied for 24
th with a two-round score of 148(+4).
Senior
Bree Wanderscheid marked a 77(+5) in the second round, bringing her overall to 153(+9). Wanderscheid sits tied for 60
th with five others, including No.73 Agathe Laisne of Texas and No.80 Kirsty Hodgkins of Colorado.
