THIS WEEK: The #71 ranked Washington State women's golf team is heading to Kane'ohe, O'ahu to compete in the 33
rd Dr.Donnis Thompson Invitational on March 13-14.
THE TOURNAMENT: The invitational will take place at the Kane'ohe Klipper Golf Course, which is a par 72 and 6,099 yards. Teams will tee off at 8:00 a.m. with a shot gun start on both days, playing 36 holes on the first and 18 holes on the second. Â
THE FIELD: 12 teams will join Washington State in the field, including Colorado State, Hawaii, Hawaii-Hilo, Hawaii Pacific, Houston, No.17 Oklahoma State, Pepperdine, Rutgers, No.6 Texas, Texas A&M, UTEP, and Osaka Gakuin of Japan.

LAST TIME AT THE TOURNAMENT: Shooting 11-over par over the three rounds (875), the Cougars tied for third place in the invitational in a field that featured four top-25 teams. Senior
Alivia Brown tied for third place, having marked a 212(-4) over the three rounds. Sophomore
Marie Lund-Hansen tied for 23
rd, shooting 5 over par with a 221.
LAST TIME ON THE GREEN: The Cougars took seventh place in the Meadow Club Women's Collegiate on March 6, finishing up play with a 595(+19). Senior
Alivia Brown finished in the top ten, going two under par in the second round to finish with a 143(-1). Sophomore
Marie Lund-Hansen tied for 28
th, scoring a two day total of 149(+5).
COACHING STAFF: The team is led by ninth-year head coachÂ
Kelli Kamimura, who led the women's golf team to a conference-championship team record for the lowest three-round and single-round totals at the 2016 Pac-12 Championships…WSU alumnaÂ
Emma Betland is entering her third season as assistant coach…Betland golfed at WSU from 2010-2013.
