PULLMAN, Wash. -- The Washington State University tennis team will host its 16th annual tennis clinic Wednesday, Jan. 30, at 5:30 p.m. in honor of National Girls and Women in Sports Day. The clinic is free to all participants.

The clinic will be held at the Simmelink Tennis Courts at Hollingbery Fieldhouse and runs from 5:30-6:30 p.m. The team and coaching staff will host the tennis clinic, as they encourage females of all ages and skill levels to participate in this fun event. Racquets and balls will be provided for participants that do not have their own equipment.

"This is an event our players and coaches look forward to each season," said WSU Head Tennis Coach Lisa Hart. "To have our student-athletes give back to the community for its tremendous support throughout the season and inspire women of all ages to enjoy the sport of tennis is very positive."

The Cougars are off to a 6-1 start this season and return to competition Feb. 8 at Baylor.
