Alivia Brown and sophomore
Marie Lund-Hansen both landed top twenty finishes in the Westbrook Invitational in Peoria, Arizona. The first two rounds took place on Sunday, followed by the final 18 on Monday.

Brown tied for ninth place after scoring an even-par 72 in the third and final round, to finish with a three-round total of  211(-5). Brown scored a 69(-3) and a 70(-2) on the first day of competition.

Lund-Hansen marked her tournament low on the final day, finishing five under par with a 67 to tie for 20
th (213, -3).

The Cougars finished in 10
th place as a team, moving up one spot from their first day finish of 11
th. The team recorded their lowest round on the second day, shooting a collective 283(-5). The teams overall 860(-4) landed them one stroke behind 9
th place finisher and No. 15 ranked Illinois (859, -5). More impressively, the Cougs' four-under was their best tournament total since the 2007-08 season when WSU went five-under par at the UNLV Spring Rebel Invitational.

Junior
Madison Odiorne tied for 52
nd place with a three round score of 220(+4). Odiorne marked her lowest round on Sunday, shooting a 71(-1) in the first.

Taking the tournament title was No. 17 ranked Oklahoma, who went -25 over the two days for an overall 839.

Next up for women's golf is the Meadow Club Invitational, which will take place on March 5-6Â in Fairfax, California.
