THIS WEEK: The Washington State University women's golf team travels to Albuquerque, New Mexico, for the 2016 Branch Law Firm/Dick McGuire Invitational at The Championship Golf Course, Sept. 12-13.
THE COURSE: The Championship Golf Course at the University of New Mexico is a 6,315-yard track at a par-73…the first and second rounds will take place Monday, Sept. 12, with a shotgun start at 7:30 a.m PT/8:30 a.m. MT… the final round will begin at 8:30 a.m. PT Tuesday, Sept. 13.Â
THE FIELD: Joining host-school New Mexico in the 16-team field will be Arizona, Arizona State, Baylor, California, Colorado, UC Davis, Denver, Iowa State, UNLV, Northwestern, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Pepperdine, San Diego State, and Washington State…Arizona (10th), Arizona State (11th), California (16th), Colorado (22nd), Iowa State (25th), UNLV (19th), Northwestern (eighth), Oklahoma State (ninth), and San Diego State (21st) all finished the 2016 season ranked in the top 25.

COACHING STAFF: This will be
Kelli Kamimura's eighth season as head coach…Kamimura led the Cougars to a conference-championship team record for the lowest three-round and single-round totals at the 2016 Pac-12 Championships…WSU alumna
Emma Betland is entering her third season as assistant coach…Betland golfed at WSU from 2010-2013.
